"Exciting" Leftist Regimes in SA

In a news conference today on CSPAN, State Department spokesman Arturo Valenzuela gave a news conference in advance of Hillary Clinton's "We Hate America As Much as You Do" tour of South America.

His lead-off comment was how wonderful it was that Uruguay had a socialist government, and how that made these "exciting times." Uruguay, of course, is the most recent addition to the Marxist countries in South America which have rebuked the United States and aligned themselves closely with Cuba and Venezuela's Hugo "I Smell Sulfur" Chavez. 

Valenzuela briefly touched on the "common history" of the U.S. and South America: Invasion of "indigenous societies" and occupation by slave monger honkey Euros, followed eventually by present day "leftist" regimes focused on "social justice." 

Since socialists took power, Uruguay has been a staunch anti-American voice, and loud defender of Castro and Chavez. Previously a military ally, the Marxist regimes have re-aligned themselves to Cuba and Chavez, and is progressively moving toward nationalizing American companies and has engaged in systematic harassment of Americans. 

While the government in Montevideo organizes regular anti-American protests which has prompted the State Department to issue travel warnings, that same State Department issues slobbering praise and undisguised puppy-love for the regime. When asked about the region's re-alignment away from the U.S., the growing influence of Iran, Cuba, Russia, and China, Valenzuela said, "It's an engagement with the world which we welcome."

The Obama administration "welcomes" the fact that the United States is blocked out of meaningul relations with South America since Obama took office, and their re-alignment to Marxist and neo-Marxist regimes. The reason? "We share the same goals."

Got that? They are marching hard left and becoming more beligerantly anti-U.S., and Obama's policy is that  "e share the same goals."

I'm not one to get overly excited about the cause celebre of the moment, but I'll allow my emotions to have free reign on this one.

Pardon me while I suppress any semblance of reason and sanity, and allow pure unadulterated righteous rage to grip my faculties......

Koua Fong Lee was driving a Toyota Camry directly from church in 2006 when it accelerated and he was not able to brake it.

Sound familiar? 

Well he is rotting in a prison for murder over the resulting accident, despite the victims' family insisting he be freed. 

I gotta tell ya, if I was president, I would personally take a squad of SEALS to the prison where he's incarcerated and kill every rat bastich who stood in the way of freeing him on the spot. Screw pardons. Takes too long. I would not care if I left behind a hundred dead prison guards and a prison in smoldering ruins.

Why this man is still behind bars is beyond me. It's so outrageous that it justifies deadly rage, IMHO. Anyone who diedd in the process of freeing him would be as justified as Seals on a rescue mission to retrieve US POW's. Any guard who died opposing his release would be a casualty as dismissable as a Taliban guard holding US soldiers prisoner. Outrageous, you say? Hell yes. Because I am outraged. Murderously outraged and justifiably so.

Whelps No Longer Licking Obama's Feet

A Pew study released today reveals that 18-29 yr olds have shifted dramatically right since the whelps voted a fellow child into office. In fact, though it is loathe to say so outright, Pew indicates that it is the largest EVER shift right in that demographic.

"the Democratic advantage among 18-to-29 year olds has substantially narrowed - from a record 62 percent identifying as Democrat vs. 30 percent for the GOP in 2008, down to 54 percent vs. 40 percent last December. It was the largest percentage point jump in those who identified or leaned Republican among all the voting age groups. "

This is devastating for Democrats in two ways: First is the obvious morale hit in seeing the very people credited with the victory turning against the child-in-chief. Second and perhaps most important in the real world is the fact that youth are so disenchanted with Little Barry and the Dancing Dem Dems  that they are likely to stay away from the polls now and for the foreseeable future.

Cry (crocodile tears) for the Children

Handwringing socialists - this variety sporting white coats and a gradum Medicinae Doctoris - are in high dudgeon over the plight of children. But don't be fooled because the crocodile tears they shed only mask their true goal of more Big Brother government.

The specific children about whom they are hysterically agitated, are children who eat food and choke. More specifically still, are those kids who bite off more than they can chew while eating hot dogs. Fat kids, skinny kids, kids who climb on rocks. Tough kids, sissy kids. Even kids with chicken pox.

161 kids in 2006 died choking on food. Five percent, or about 3 of those are from hot dogs. Too many. Any kids who die for any reason is too many. Car wrecks, abusive foster parents, bee stings, theme park rides, collapsing schools, floods, dog attacks, tornadoes.... It seems life is a veritable gauntlet of deadly activities through which children must pass.

Out of all of this, these medicos are screeching angry over..... hot dogs. So angry that they want... no... DEMAND fascistic government control of the entire food industry. Sausages have existed since shortly after man began to use fire. Longer than recorded history. Longer in fact than civilization itself. But today, Monday February 22, 2010, doctors have HAD ENOUGH of that deadly scourge. 

No longer will they tolerate kids eating hot dogs. Armour hot dogs. The dogs kids love to bite. To control the tubular epidemic of delicatessen madness, it is necessary, according to them, for Americans to give socialists complete control of our food production. Vast armies of government agents will spew forth from Washington in search of the deadly tubes of meat byproducts, grain fillers, roach parts, and rodent hairs. They will hunt down the coconspirator condiments ketsup and mustard, and jail sidewalk purveyors of intestine-encased infanticide who practice their dark arts under bright umbrellas and ghoulishly offer a bag of chips and soda with the dagger that they plunge into a child's heart.

In all seriousness, I would be a bit less skeptical of these panic-stricen pediatricians if the lot of them did not believe that Saddam Hussein, the murderer of children, is the legitimate leader of Iraq and should still be in power there.

I'm sick and tired of leftists carping about treating terrorists according to the Geneva Convention.

In doing so, they display their complete ignorance to the Geneva Convention.

In absolute, irrefutable point of fact, denying terrorists Geneva Convention rights is ADHERING TO the Geneva Convention.

Look it up, fools. The Geneva Convention plainly states that it is to be applied only to legitimate uniformed combatants from countries who are signatories to it. In other words, the Geneva Convention in effect states, "too bad, Muhammed. Here's another bamboo shoot up your finger nails."

Olympic Reportage: Pinnacle of Journalism

After viewing the Winter Olympics in Vancouver, I have come to the realization that sports reporting is actually superior journalism than "news" journalism today.

Watching American network coverage of the competition, it dawned on me that these American journalists unapologetically favored their nation's athletes, while giving fair coverage of the competition as well. After consideration, I wondreed if they were doing so to cull the favor of their American audience. I decided that, no, they honestly WANTED America to win and that was unabashedly reflected in their coverage of the events.

There is nothing wrong with that. Indeed, there is a lot RIGHT with that and I wish it were true in the newsroom as well as the sports department.

Imagine a return to the days of WWII when American journalists wanted America to WIN a war. Today an American journalist would be summarily fired if he even hinted at a desire to see his own country's military win a war. Today's journalist sees his occupational "neutrality" as a higher calling than any fealty to his kin or homeland.  So extreme has this mislaid sense of priority become, that today's American journalist will default to advocating against his homeland and FOR THE ENEMY, in his effort to giving them "fair" press.

It is a perversion of professional ethics to place them above fealty to ones' kin and country. Especially when that country is the United States which is unique in human history for shedding the blood of their beloved to protect the freedom of other peoples. 

Sad to say that your average sports reporter has higher journalistic standards than all of the newsroom combined.

During a CPAC segment to recognize student conservative activists from across the country, one particular conservative, Ryan Sorba of the California Young Americans for Freedom, denounced CPAC for allowing the gay conservative group GOProud to co-sponsor the event and host a booth. After finishing his short speech against homosexuality as being contrary to the concept of natural rights -- amidst booing from the crowd -- he walked off the stage.

I'd estimate that 75% of Democrats view the 9/11 terrorists as "Noble Patriots" to their underdog cause, and the Twin Towers as a legitimate target.

Democrats are always  excusing terrorists' tactics as a cruel but necessary fact of life in their disproportionate war (aka any war against the United States). Makes me wonder how they will view the man pilot who flew a plane into the IRS building in his disproportionate war with the same United States of America which the left hates so much.

One difference though: Bureaucrats who collect taxes were the target, rather than private citizens, so the left will view Joseph Stack as a "home grown terrorist" even though the man is given to quoting Marx and other leftist ideologues.  Had he flown his plane into the Pentagon over a dispute about deployment to Afghanistan, he would be catipulted into instant cult-worship status among Democrats. But as it is, he was in a dispute with the IRS, which could drive any sane man into a homicidal rage, and there is no bureaucrat the left loves more than a tax collector.

There is no agency of the government more arrogant and evil than the IRS, and none more worthy of digging up one's guns and engaging in the spirit of the second amendment. His crime, to the left, will be not his action, but his target.

Here is the mainstream Democrat view of the direction they see for America:

“We need to...  create a truly universal and comprehensive social welfare state.”

Such a statement 50 years ago would have caused the villagers to grab their pitch forks and form a lynch party. Today it is the official policy of the President and majority party in Congress.

Our founding fathers would puke. This is EXACTLY why they gave us the Second Amendment.

Democrats WANT a Nuclear Iran

Always remember that Democrats have an agenda which they must keep close to their chest, lest the knuckle-dragging, unintelligent public get wind of their plans and deny them electoral office.

Today a prime example of this reached out to slap PBS viewers who were paying attention (all 2 of them). During a PBS Newshour interview, Flynt Leverett of the hard left New America Foundation proclaimed (after vilifying the Iranian demonstrators) that the extremist Akhmedinejad regime had the "right" to nuclear weapons and that America would be best served in not only allowing it to happen, but to engage a powerful nuclear Iran positively as a partner and ally.

This raised the question of "partner in what?" The answer obviously is: Partner in the destruction of Israel.  Plainly, no sane person would WANT Iran to posses nuclear weapons, because a nuclear holocaust is certain to follow. But the Democrats desire exactly this. That Democrats are anti-semites is inarguable. Their loathing of Jews in Israel is unequaled going back to their ideological kin: Hitler's Nazis.

Congressmen with a (D) after their name, and candidates for office from their party will not SAY it because they will never get elected. So to divine their true intentions you must look past the talking heads in Washington and listen to the messages of those who formulate policy for them. People like Flynt Leverett and organizations he pontificates for like the New America Foundation, which openly asserts that a nuclear-weaponized Iran would be a GOOD THING..
