Obama's Support Among Dems is Cracking

Support for the child-in-chief is crashing among his core supporters: Democrats.

A recent poll found that Obama's disapproval rating among self-described Democrats has exploded 600% since he lied his way into the oval office.

Disapproval among independents has almost trippled since the moron took office, and those foolish Republicans who supported him in the election has obviously tanked to almost nil.

All this raises the question: Can the Idiot from Illinois get re-elected in 2012?

How much further will his approval rating drop when the disastrous financial  fallout from his policies becomes MORE CLEAR? How many more Americans will hate this moron after he deliberately orchestrates our defeat in Afghanistan? When people with reliable health insurance now see its cost DOUBLE or TRIPLE, how much adoration will America have for the dunce in the oval office?

Wait One Cotton Pickin Second Here!

Reality check!

Rewind a few months to the heyday of the left's delusion that they could shove every aspect of their Health Care wish list down the collective throat of Americans. Single payer, forced subscription, government control, swastikas on nurse uniforms...... OK, the last one was a logical result, not a wish.....

Now, fast forward to today. The health insurance industry says they can't support Max Baucus' health bill because it DOES NOT have a key element on the left's wish list: Forced subscription.  The reaction of the left SHOULD BE to say, "Right on brother!" and build a campfire around which to sing kum-by-ya with America's Health Insurance Plans, the group which wants to see fascistic orders of compliance.

But the reaction, instead, is anger and accusations that the group is trying to "torpedo" health insurance reform.  Huh?

Let's get this straight: America's Health Insurance Plans starts out agreeing with the left on forced subscription. America's Health Insurance Plans does not waiver on that as Democrats drop the requirement for expediency. Now, the left is pretending that THEY NEVER supported forced compliance, and that America's Health Insurance Plans are evil racist thugs trying to make babies die for doing so.

Now, here is what makes me scratch my head in wonderment: Not one mainstream media source will point this obvious fact out. If Republicans did a flip-flop like that, the media would have banner headlines in red ink trumpeting it as proof of incompetence and evil intentions. But such a glaring inconsistency from the left is virtually ignored.

Vietnam Redux

Democrats love the Vietnam war because they won and America lost.

They hate Iraq because we won despite their best efforts on behalf of the enemy, and they want to make damn good and sure we lose in Afghanistan.

Is the child-in-chief, Presidentito Obama, deliberately delaying a request made a LONG TIME AGO by the commanders in the field for more troops? Of course he is. He - and the Democrats - are hoping against hope that something dramatic will happen between now and then. Something to give them the excuse to declare Afghanistan "unwinnable" and precipitously surrender.

Just like they did in Vietnam.

How Republicans Invented Incivility in 2009

Ask any subscriber to the New York Times, Chicago Tribune, or L.A. Times. Ask any viewer of MSNBC, CBS or CNN.

Go ahead.... ask them: "When exactly did the Republicans introduce incivility into American politics?"

They will answer with one voice: "Republicans destroyed civility in American politics in 2009."  On this point there is not a single voice deviating from the script. Not one.

No mention is made of  Ted Kennedy's "Lies, lies lies" diatribe on the floor of the senate. Not one mainstream media voice will point out that today's conservative town hall attendees are infinitely more "civil" than Cindy Sheehan was able to muster on her most agreeable day as the heckler-in-chief.

None will revisit pictures of anti-war protesters calling Bush a Nazi and proudly marching behind banners declaring "F**K THE TROOPS!"

Legions will not muster to recall 40 years of liberals calling conservatives "nazis," "racists" "homophobes," "xenophobes," "Islamophobes," and every other name in the book - mostly unmentionable in decent company.

Yep. Republicans invented incivility in American politics in 2009.

Obama Fiddles While Afghanistan Burns

Nero had nothing on Obama.

So out of touch is our child-in-chief that he is sojourning around Europe pimping Chicago for a series of GAMES while Afghanistan turns into burning rubble.

To be fair, it is totally logical that Afghanistan would become the next focus of Al Qaeda's wrath after they were tossed unceremoniously from Iraq by President Bush. Even if "W" were still in office, the war in Afghanistan would have ratcheted to a higher level because Osama's bomb vest boys have been denied a major venue, but their show must go on somewhere.

It's called a New World War, where an amorphous, ununiformed enemy appears and disappears from conflict zones as they are allowed. This is not to say that making war on them is pointless. Far from it. The narrower their field of play, the more ineffective they are globally.

So, Obama is not at fault for the heightened conflict in  Afghanistan, but he IS at fault for running the war with more brooding thumb sucking than bold action. FDR he ain't. At least FDR had the cajones to act, even though many of his actions turned out to be disastrous mistakes. Obama lacks the nerve, experience, and foresight to make any bold wartime decisions.  Athis heart, he has no stomach for war, and if it weren't for a nasty thing called "re-election," he would declare Afghanistan "unwinnable" and precipitously surrender just like the Democrarts did in Vietnam.

Obama's "Distance" Looks More Like an Embrace

At a townhall meeting in Plainfield, Indiana, Senator Obama uttered words that indicated he desired to "distance himself" from the hateful rhetoric of racist Reverend Wright, the longtime pastor of the Illinois Senator's church. The Senator's words were made meaningless when he followed up by defending the racist, saying, "This is somebody who was a former U.S. Marine, who is a biblical scholar, who's preached and taught at theological seminaries all across the country, and has had a reputation as a preeminent preacher in the country."

The problem with Senator Obama's lame attempt to distance himself from his racist pastor is that he did not do so. In fact he endorsed him. Saying one is distancing oneself.... and actually doing so are two different things.

The racist leader of Senator Obama's church - who has made no secret of his loathing for whites and America - has made several distinct statements, each of which need to be separately addressed by the Democratic Party's nominee presumptive. Failure to itemize the comments and rebuke them individually and specifically, in context, is not acceptable, and is tantamount to a smoke-and-mirrors attempt at refusing to rebuke the comments.

The senator needs to specifically address Reverend Wright's "God damn America" remarks.

The senator needs to specifically address Reverend Wright's "America created the AIDS virus" remarks.

The senator needs to specifically address Reverend Wright's "I hate America" remarks.

The senator needs to specifically address Reverend Wright's "America deserved 9/11" remarks.

The senator needs to specifically address Reverend Wright's racists "whitey" remarks.

And while he's at it, Senator Obama needs to specifically address his church's recent endorsement of Reverend Wright and all his offensive sermons. This is still Senator Obama's church, and his membership in it is an endorsement of the positions of that church. He can't pretend to distance himself from racist comments, while every action he takes endorses them.
