In a CBS television interview Friday morning, House majority leader Steny Hoyer claimed that the Wall Street Journal released a poll stating that a majority of Americans support the health care bill before Congress.
There is just one problem with Hoyer's claim: It's a lie.
A thorough search of the WSJ reveals consistent patterns of lack of public support for the bill, the process, and the legislators who are raping the Constitution in order to shoehorn it through. On the day of Hoyer's claim, there was one major article mention of a WSJ poll. It's salient point is one Hoyer should keep in mind when it comes time to renew his D.C. lease:
"Journal/NBC News pollsters posed this hypothetical: If there were a line on the ballot that would allow you to defeat and replace every single member of Congress, including your own representative, would you do it? Fully half of the respondents said they would."
