And yet they continually claim to have the cure for the ills they caused. Invariably, their "cure" for whatever ill they see makes the condition worse.
Let's take some examples:
Abortion.
They feel there are too many babies being born to women who aren't ready for motherhood. This is a direct result of the leftist sexual revolution and empowering women to open their legs to any John, Dîck or Harry that wants to dip his wick. Only a leftist would not have seen a boom in unwanted pregnancies resulting from the "free sex" movement they so adore. Their cure for all these unwanted babies? Kill them.
Child Molestation
The left are big on the psychiatry of blamelessness. Of sexuality being a big tent wherein any deviance is OK, and the ones with the hang-ups are the ones who are in a monogamous, adult, heterosexual relationship. All this "if it feels good, do it" crap - and their policies of teaching children that THEY are the ones who are bad if they object to another male touching them sexually. Teaching children about perverted sexuality in kindergarten - and reinforcing the ludicrous notion that it is OK. Then, they act as if they've caught the vapors when children by the score are being molested. Their cure: More of the same pansy, limp-wristed psyciatric clap-trap that brought about the problem in the first place.
The Housing Market Crash
Through race-baiting and blackmail, organizations such as Acorn and the left coerced financial institutions to give loans to people who obviously could not pay them back. Simultaneously, leftist legislators threatened FANNY MAE and FREDDY MAC if they didn't dole out home loans to every non-qualified person who asked. After a couple years of that stupidity, SURPRISE SURPRISE... the housing market collapsed. Their cure? Give the ne-er-do-wells MORE MONEY and pay their mortgages for them, or force financial institutions to absorb the lost revenue and NOT FORECLOSE on the debtors.
Jobs Going Over-Seas
After decades of forcing minimum wages, extortionist union contracts and artificial hiring quotas on business, business got sick of it and sent a lot of their work overseas. It is laughable that the left tries to blame the right for business flight from America, when they are the ones that are making America as anti-business as they can. In their mind, anyone who makes a profit is stealing money from the poor. Their cure: Penalize and tax business even MORE. Yep. That is sure to make them want to return to America. Idiots.
The examples just roll on....... It would take an encyclopedic tome to list them all.
