I predict Senator McCain will choose Joe Lieberman as his running mate.
The country could do worse for VP.
Recently, Senator McCain has been dropping Senator Lieberman's name in the context off reaching across the aisle. Lieberman would take it, I think, to poke the Dems in the eye.
Since the black vote is a write-off, at least Lieberman might swing some of the Jewish vote and moderates to McCain. I don't think it will play well for McCain to select a conservative as running mate - he's billing himself in that roll.
